Is There a Non-surgical Answer to Smoothing out the Edges of an Implant?

Question: I am approximately four weeks removed from breast implant surgery, and I can feel the edges of the implant in my right breast. The left seems fine, but the right side worries me. Will the muscle or tissue eventually cover the edge of the right side’s implant? Can I massage it to make it so? Is there anything I can do without enduring surgery again to cover the edge so I cannot feel it?

Answer: Unfortunately, there is not a non-surgical answer to your problem. However, with continued healing you might find that the breast tissue drops, and that it may cover the problematic edge naturally on its own. Be patient, and hope for the best.
